“INTERIORS AND EXTERIORS” WATERCOLORS

Houses, much like the human beings who inhabit them, are composed of both an exterior and an interior.
Every façade, every window, every wall, every room, every staircase, and every piece of furniture possesses its own unique character. Houses are a reflection of their inhabitants, and the inhabitants, in turn, are a reflection of the houses in which they live. The gestures of a prince are dictated by the rules of his palace, just as the gestures of a beggar are dictated by the rules of his hut—a shelter fashioned from branches, corrugated metal sheets, and plastic tarps.
